I apologize for the novel in advance, but I really have to express how incredibly kind, patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and dedicated Kim, Danielle, and the rest of the Hogan Realty Group team is. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a realtor.
I grew up in the Winter Garden area, and after 10 years my husband and I decided to move back home around the family. We knew we were going to be fighting an uphill battle (we used my husband's VA Loan), but went with the realtor provided by Veteran's United.
The first realtor had one phone call with my husband, put us into the MLS system, and told us to call him if we saw something we liked. One of his assistants showed us three homes, with no follow-up from the realtor. He wasn't a bad realtor, I'm sure with this housing market he was wildly busy, but I honestly didn't feel like he cared one way or another. The houses he sent us were outside the area we wanted to be in, and they just weren't what we were looking for (for example: not enough square footage, no yard, etc.)
After a month or two of these lukewarm exchanges with the assistant (not even the realtor), we decided to find a new realtor.
Cue Kim and Hogan Realty Group. What a remarkable difference!!! Kim took the time to really sit down and ask us about our vision for our future home. You could tell immediately that she knew the area, because she knew the neighborhoods by name. She asked questions. She had thoughtful responses. She was patient with my husband and I, and our thousands of questions (since this is our first home). She even made suggestions based on our wants and needs!
I swear we spent every other Saturday for 4 weeks straight with Kim, and every single time we met her at a house, she greeted us with a smile and an overview of the house information. We must have gone through 30 houses, but Kim treated every single house like it could be the one for us.
We put in 3 offers and lost 3 houses. Every single time, Kim was right there, as invested as we were. She celebrated with us, and grieved the lost houses with us... and she was there to inspire us to keep looking.
Eventually we found the house, and it's all thanks to Kim and her team. The moment it came up on the MLS, she texted us a picture of the post and said "I have a good feeling about this one!" How thoughtful of her, to personally send us houses that she feels are the perfect fit.
Not only did Kim help us win the bid war for our new home, she was also 100% transparent with the buying/closing experience. She was there for the inspection, she helped move the titling along, and she even negotiated a discount through Veteran's United.
If you are in the market for a realtor, I would ONLY recommend Kim, Danielle, and the Hogan Realty Group Team. She knows the area like the back of her hand, she is passionate about her work, but more importantly, she CARES about her people, and will treat you like a valued friend. I genuinely think Kim is the Real Estate Fairy Godmother--her goal is to see you in your perfect home.
We've been in our home for 2 months now and love it even more than the day we closed! Thank you again Hogan Realty Group!
