Celebration

The celebration is a town in Osceola County, right outside of Disney World. Have you ever imagined living in a city created by Walt Disney himself? Well, wake up from your dream because Celebration is the reality! Initially founded by The Walt Disney Company in the mid-‘90s, the community was fashioned after historical American small towns and civic buildings. The picturesque downtown is compact and walkable. The community features a diverse and interesting mix of housing, from grand estate-style homes to condos, all of which are situated on pedestrian-friendly streets.

The celebration has a lot to offer. It is like living in a fantasy land! You can walk, use a horse-drawn carriage, Segway or ride bikes through the scenic trails in your new area. The celebration is also home to many annual events such as Now Snowing during the holidays and Oktoberfest, which celebrates the beginning of fall. You can also stop by your local farmers market every Sunday or monthly art and wine strolls. 

The "Disney City"

The celebration was meant to be a place to live and work. An office complex was announced and built early in the process of making the community. Several Disney divisions occupy much of that office space, including the headquarters for the Disney Cruise Line. There are roughly 4,300 homes and condos, two public grade schools, a public library, along with shops, hotels, and businesses, all linked by more than 40 public parks and miles of walking trails and boardwalks.
